The International Outer Planet Watch, ex-"International
Jupiter Watch" (IOPW) is an informal organization of astronomers and planetary
scientists devoted to coordinating and encouraging observations in the outer planets
from the Earth and from space, with an emphasis on time-variable phenomena. Support
of the Galileo mission to Jupiter has been
an important goal.
