The Satellite Discipline of the IOPW coordinates and encourages observations of the satellites around outer planets, including all satellites except Titan since it will have its own independent discipline. Discipline Leader and site manager: Franck Marchis of University of California at Berkeley.
Much of the material on this site was originally created by John Spencer of Lowell Observatory and Robert Howell from University of Wyoming, the previous Discipline Leaders.
I have been reorganizing some of it during the transfer to the Berkeley host computer. If you find any broken links or other problems, please let me know via the email address below. Also let me know if you have suggestions either for the web site or for other activities of the Satellite Discipline.
