Greetings:

   In my "Ole Roemer" e-mail message of March 4th (yesterday), I
referred to a letter from Jurgen Rahe, dated February 25th 1993,
announcing plans to start in Fiscal Year (FY) 1994 a ground-based
"Jupiter Watch" program in support of the Galileo mission to Jupiter.
These plans have now been cancelled: NASA plans to start funding
"Jupiter Watch" programs in FY 1995 instead.  However, Planetary
Astronomy grant proposals that include or focus on observations in
support of Galileo are still encouraged.  The deadline for receipt of
proposals for funding starting in FY 1994 is still March 19, 1993.
