Io is still unusually bright in eclipse, suggesting that the eruption first seen around July 20 is still in progress. Brightness during occultation reappearance increased suddenly about halfway through the reappearance, again suggesting that the same source seen in late July is still bright, but there was further brightening later, indicating important flux sources further east on Io as well. More detailed photometry of the occultation should clarify the picture.
